My Updated Bunny Egg

When I was around 13ish my girlfriend and I made these cute little eggs and my Mom still sets them out every year for Easter. I thought it was time to see if I could update the little critter:) Now, let me tell you off the bat...these things are time consuming! Originally, we used real eggs and poked little holes in both ends of the egg and blew the insides out. We used colored construction paper, a hole punch and started punching out like crazy! Then we just started gluing one circle at the very bottom and started layering them on top of each other until we were done! For my updated version I just bought a paper mache egg. I also used Mod Podge to glue the circles down and then put a layer on the top. The purple and white egg was made by gluing crochet thread around and around the paper mache egg.

Here's my list of supplies
  • Sugarplum Paperie's Grapefruit Twist and White Blank Slate digital paper
  • small and large SU! oval punches
  • Pretty in Pink and Close to Cocoa ink and marker
  • black CS
  • blue jewels
  • Mod Podge
  • hole punch
  • paper mache egg

Lots of Stuff!

So sorry that my post is so long, but I've been really busy lately and I'm trying to design digital kits and do all of my CT stuff...so here's a mix of it all:)
My Mom and I made these cute egg baskets with Kelleigh Ratzlaff's templates. You can find them at the Digi Chick.
This LO of Bentley was made from Ro Hall's Carousel Ride kit. You can pick it up the kit for free...along with my Spring Bliss kit and 8 other designers kits at ScrapMatters.
This LO of my cowboys is made with Pamela Donnis's collab with Krystal Hartley. Go check out Wild, Wild West at The DigiChick.
I just can't wait for summer. Mari Koegelenberg's new kit Maroccon Sunset and Photo Maks Vol. 2 inspired me to do this LO. You can pick both of them up at the Digi Chick.
I made this cute LO of Josh on a field trip with Courtney Wilson's Every Day Miracles. You can find it at the Digi Chick.
Here's one more LO I made of Josh...he finally lost his first tooth! YAY! Everything is from my Round 2 and 3 paper and element pack Old-Time Elegance from ScrapMatters. And finally my last LO is made with this awesome kit...Strawberry Cafe. It's by Sugarplum Paperie and you can find it at The Digi Chick. Any guesses who is in this picture?
