Flirty Skirty Love

I found this $1.00 wooden Love sign at Michaels craft store the other day. It was an awful pink color. I decided to paint it black and cover it with Sugarplum Paperie's Flirty Skirty digital papers. I scanned the Love to get a pattern and used 2 different papers to cover it.

So elegant looking - love the subtle black prints, and the little ribbon around the 'L'

How very stunning!!! I love the way you create such striking pieces of art with digi papers and $1 finds. I wish I could be half as creative.

Hugs!

I've seen some of those ugly wooden words at Michael's...hmmm, I may have to give them a second look! Thanks for the idea!

So great! I still haven't been adventurous enough to try buying something awful looking and altering it - I guess I don't easily see past the obvious.

Also, I just wanted to let you know I love the Bentley kit you shared last month. I created two cards using your papers. You can see them at the links below.
